Who is The Baron?

“The Baron” is Tristan Barnett, a mathematician specializing in tennis statistics who has built a career predicting sporting outcomes. He has worked with major bookmakers like Ladbrokes and Centrebet, as well as sports tech firm Infoplum, setting odds both before and during live matches. He is best known for his tennis forecasting, including coverage on Yahoo7 during Grand Slam events, along with appearances on SEN radio and 3RRR. His work has also been featured in the Australian Financial Review. Beyond media, Barnett has consulted for Tennis Australia, contributed performance analysis to the Western Bulldogs, lectured in statistics at Swinburne University of Technology, and collaborated with Defence Science and Technology Group.
